Powder Pale Ale
Australian Single Hopped Pale Ale.
Using our Belgian house yeast strain and incorporating a single hopped Cascade, this refreshing ale displays citrus, melon and tropical fruit with a phenolic and spicy undertone from the yeast. We have also added a special ingredient not available from any other brewery - Liquid Powder. Like all of our beers, it is crafted using pure snow melt sourced from high altitude aquifers.

Brandy Creek Kolsch
Our Alpine interpretation of this classic German style. Using Crystal hops to create a clean crisp ale, it throws slight citrus, passion fruit aromas with restrained spice. Very session-able and perfect on a summer's day in the mountains, as well as apres ski. Brandy Creek, just a few minutes up the Great Alpine Road from the brewery, was the site of a gold mine from the 1860s. We think you will find our Kolsch a gold standard beer.

Avalanche Amber Ale
Brewed to an Alt style of dark ale, we blend an Avalanche of specialty malts to overtake your palate with a complex yet approachable beer. Incorporating hop additions of Cascade and local Ella, we deliver a balanced dark amber ale without astringency due to the use of carefully selected specialty malts and our house yeast strain. Your taste buds won't want to be rescued from the aromatic tastes in this avalanche of flavor and color.

This classic style uses locally sourced base malt, Saaz hops and Saflager yeast to create a traditional bohemian style. Brewed with a Victorian High Country twist, we brew with snow melt sourced from Dinner Plain's acquifers. Crafted like all or our beers at an altitude of 1550 meters in the Victorian Alps.

Take our 1550 Lager and introduce the delicate aroma of lavender from nearby Harrietteville, and you have A Beer for my Dear. This is a promise kept - our Founder promised to brew his bride a beer that she liked while chasing his dreams. For the palate that knows what she likes.
Ice Horse IPA
A hop forward styles crafted using Cascade, Mosaic, Galaxy and Ella hops. Displaying dank notes of citrus and passion-fruit, with hints of pine and a balanced bitterness. West Coast inspired, it pours a copper, reddish amber with a persistent white head. The flavor and balance belie the low ABV - definitely an Ice Horse you can get on.

A unique and very dark Belgian style specialty Stout displaying notes of rum, spice and dark fruit with deep chocolate malt notes. The perfect companion for you in front of a warm fire on a snowy evening - let it warm in your hands to experience the full flavor and complexity in this beer. The Mountain is calling and I must go.

Rule 47 Belgian Ale
This is the High Country Brewery Trail 2016 collaboration brew, hosted this year by Blizzard. It showcases the hops grown in our own Alpine Valleys, celebrates the trails that connect us, and pays homage to the special relationship between beers and bikes. This year's brew follows on from the Belgian theme of previous editions, and is a Belgian Ale, made with special Belgian yeast, local hops from the Rostrevor Hop Gardens (of course) and traditional Belgian malts. When you hit the High Country Brewery Trail, bring your bike, bring your thirst, and enjoy hand made, authentic craft beer from our passionate local brewers. Life is too short for bad beer. Bladerunner Belgian Pale
Crafted with specialty Belgian yeast, we have created a taste of Belgium with the name and packaging inspired by a local cross country and walking trail of the same name. Medium bodied pouring a rich golden orange hue. Moderate malty, biscuity flavour with a backbone of spice derived from a healthy percentage of Rye malt. Aroma of passion fruit, melon, stone fruit, balanced with low peppery, floral, woody phenols finishing with a dryish smooth palate. Winner of the Peter Aldred Choice Award for Best Commercial Beer at the Ballarat Beer Festival 2017 and a Silver medal at the Australian International Beer Awards.

Who's Ros & Trevor North East Ale
A single malt ale crafted exclusively with freshly harvested Galaxy hops from the Rostrevor Hop Gardens. Located in the Alpine Valleys at the base of our mountaintop brewery, Rostrevor is a world class hop farm. Winner of a Bronze medal at the Australian International Beer Awards.

A collaboration between a baker and a brewer, this exciting new project brings together two streams of fermentation. This saison has utilized sourdough in the mash that has been naturally fermented with 150 year old yeast. Displaying complex fruity esters with floral and grassy notes and a citrus aroma.
